Now that the kitchen is finished, I spent some time this weekend rearranging things a bit. Nothing major – just some tweaks to how I’d decorated, because it’s always nice to change things up and make things fresh, right?
Well, Merlin must agree, because he found a new spot (yes, another one), and I’d say he fits right in, wouldn’t you?
Yes, he’s quite the showpiece.
Alas, I evicted him shortly after taking the picture, and he had to find another comfy nook to look handsome in. But he managed. As cats do.
Figured we could all use a smile on this Monday morning, and Merlin always obliges, doesn’t he? 😊
Upstairs bathroom renovation starts this week. Short story hopefully on Friday. Happy creating, y’all!

He does! Even more in person, I think. His jaw is huge. But he has no idea! He’s loving all of this renovating we’re doing, because we’re opening up so many great spots for him. 😉

He is! He’s a little over a year old, and has no idea just how large he is. And he wants to be part of everything. Super funny and sweet, with all the renovations we’ve had going on.

They truly are! Graham always jokes that I just can’t help myself from bothering cute, furry things. But really, how could I? So cuddly! So fluffy!

He is! And he knows it. 😉 He got to stay for a bit, just had to move when it was time to start putting things back. Not to worry, though – he found a nice, comfy spot on the kitchen counter right next to a window. He was a happy boy.
