Annie

We had to say goodbye to Annie on Monday.

It’s been a hard week. Monday was a hard day. I don’t know when we’ll feel better. I do know that from the day we brought her home way back in 2010, Annie gave us all her love, and she brought us so much joy.

I do know that she made our lives better every day that she was here. I hope we gave her a happy life, too.

And I know that we’ll love and miss her always.

My sweet little weirdo. She was tired and slow, at the end, but she never lost her spark. She was a good dog.

  1. I am so very, very sorry. Annie looked like an absolute sweetheart and I’ve no doubt you gave her a good home with all the love she could ever need. Losing a furbaby – no matter the age, no matter the situation – can be absolutely heartbreaking. I can’t say anything to make it any less awful. But I know you’ll have plenty of good memories to hold dear of Annie and how she made your home and your life what it was for so many years. 💜

Sending lots of love and hugs your way xxxxx

  2. Break our heart. Our animals become our friends. I lost a cat, I had for 12 years. The cat would sit on my shoulder when I wrote. The photos were wonderful. The photos will keep Annie in your memory.

    • It absolutely does. I’m so grateful for the time we had with her, and the pictures we have to remember her. I love that – a writing cat. I’m sure you have good memories, too.

    • Thank you. It’s been tough without her, but I’m grateful she lived a long and happy life. As I’m sure you are for your cat. 🙂 But it’s so hard to lose them.
