What are you reading lately?

One of my goals for 2022 is to read a fiction and nonfiction book every week. So, two books a week, essentially, trying to branch out into new topics and push myself to read new things. I’m a little ahead of the game right now at 56 books read. (Not a contest, but yay! That’s three more than I was able to read during all of last year.) But as you can imagine, I’m always on the lookout for my next read.

So tell me, what are you reading? What have you read lately? What should I read next? And if you’re looking for recommendations, too, feel free to leave me a comment! I’ve read lots of good stuff this year. 😊

  1. Amazing accomplishment so far! If I can get through 50 books in two years that is an accomplishment. My current book is “The Secret World of Weather: How to Read Signs in Every Cloud, Breeze, Hill, Street, Plant, Animal, and Dewdrop” by Tristan Gooley. Interesting read if you are into learning about weather. If not, it may be a little boring.

  2. Right now I’m reading How to Win friends & influence people by Dale Carnegie.
I’m not a avid reader and it’s been a while since I last read any book. But, I’m enjoying this book so far. It’s good for self development and mental growth.
I’ve purchased 3 more books with it. 🙂

  3. Two books a week is a great goal, and that’s amazing you’re keeping up with it! I’m a fantasy lover, so I’ve been reading The Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson and it’s one of the best series of books I’ve ever read!

  4. I just finished up Atoms and Ashes by Serhii Plokhy. Great book about nuclear disasters. Terrifying read as well. Don’t read if you’re strongly affected by disaster books. Otherwise, I highly recommend giving this one a go.

    • I love that! I read a fiction and a non-fiction every week. This week, I’m working through Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking by Malcolm Gladwell. Haven’t picked my fiction yet.

Thanks for stopping by, and for reading! 🙂
