LOL! No, unfortunately for Annie and Merlin. But this has become one of their favorite spots now when I’m cooking dinner. I guess they haven’t given up hope!

I think it’s the closest they’ve ever gotten! Merlin’s new thing is to drop his toy mouse in front of Annie. She just barks at him and looks at us like, “He’s so annoying!” But he’s not giving up!

Usually, same! Annie in particular has gotten very good at cleaning up after me. But we’ve been more careful as she’s gotten older, and I think Merlin just wants to be close to her. He wants her to be his friend so bad!

In time she will likely accept him as a good friend. Reminds me of two cats I once had, same problem with them, but they eventually became very good friends.
