Before Lucy was born, my dad’s best friend gave us this onesie.

Anyway, now, two years and change later, I think he knew something we didn’t, you guys.
Merlin is Lucy’s best friend in the world. He’s just the calmest, sweetest, most gentle giant with her. We are just so delighted. And he is, too. Most of the time.

It took me a little while to find it the first time! But now I can’t not see it. Just so fun! I love that my dad’s friend gave us such a cute, thoughtful gift. I’ve got it tucked away and can’t wait to show Lucy when she’s older. 🙂

He’s a very striking cat. 🙂 And so sweet. It makes my heart happy that they like each other. He’s really claimed her as his own since the day we brought her home. It’s just so cool to watch them together.

He’s a black tabby Maine Coon, so he’s huge. He often looks grumpy, but he’s really just a sweet, fluffy marshmallow who always wants snacks and cuddles.
