Breathe it in –
saltwater and sea air –
and feel the sunshine
on your skin,
almost too warm.
Be
(just be)
without a care
for a moment,
a day,
a tiny fraction of
your total time.
Give yourself this –
this memory,
this place.
For now, right now,
the rest of the world
can wait.

Totally making me that holiday feelings :’)

I have such a hard time just slowing down and not feeling like I have to be productive. I think I wrote this because I needed a reminder for myself. It is my goal to enjoy this much-needed break. 🙂

This is a meditative confirmation poem, of remembering to be in the moment and let nothing else matter. Love how it flowed as well.

I struggle with slowing down and just being in the moment, and so I think I needed the reminder myself. 🙂 So glad you liked the poem!
