We usually head down to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. There are lots of different beaches to choose from, and lots of rental houses. We’ve done Nag’s Head, Emerald Isle, and Figure Eight Island (where this picture was taken). Figure Eight is the quietest, since it’s private, but I’m not sure what the rental market on it looks like these days. Nag’s Head is a lot of fun, but busier.
